The barber promised it would be easy, then left the poster staring at a haircut so bad they could only call it a "monstrosity."
It started with confidence. The poster showed the barber the first picture, and the barber said he could "easily do it." That was enough to trust the chair, the cape, and the clippers. But when the cut was finished, the result was nowhere near the reference.
"holy crap, what is this monstrosity," the poster wrote after seeing the damage.
The real problem hit in the mirror: the shape was so off that the poster said they looked like "a fucking mushroom." The haircut sat awkwardly on the head, and instead of a clean style, the poster was left with something they wanted fixed immediately.
So they turned to the internet with a simple plea: "Any Ideas how to rescue this ?"
There was one small advantage in the timing. In an edit, the poster said they now had "holidays for two weeks." That gave them a buffer. Rather than rushing to another chair right away, the plan was to disappear for a bit, let the hair grow, and wait out the worst of it.
"I will hide inside to let it grow a little bit," the poster said, adding that the goal was to then "go to a good barber to make something out of this abomination before school starts."
It was a practical recovery plan: stay indoors, buy time, and let a better barber work with more length before classes began. The post ended with another note, this one pointing readers forward: "I will post a update after this."
And then, in a final line, the poster followed through: "Update out now :" with a link attached.
