THE TOMATO ACCUSATION
A routine Instacart delivery turns bizarre when a customer accuses the shopper of urinating on tomatoes, triggering a standoff that leaves both sides shaken and unsure.

The Instacart order started with 15 items and ended with an accusation that stopped the delivery cold.
A shopper accepted the run, saw the store was 4 miles away, and drove about 10 minutes to get there. Before the car door was even open and shopping had really begun, the customer was already messaging to ask if "everything is okay."
Inside the store, nothing unusual happened. The list was straightforward. There were no substitutions to make, no back-and-forth over replacements, no delays. The shopper picked the items, checked out, and loaded the groceries into the car.
Then came the message that blew the whole thing up.
The customer accused the shopper of "peeing on her tomatoes."
That was enough to stop everything. The shopper later said this was "the first time i've experienced someone so irrational and insane," and said they felt too uncomfortable to deliver the order. They also believed the customer would remove the tip anyway, so they did not complete the drop-off.
The exchange did not end there. The customer's final message said she was familiar with "AWS," whatever that means.
What began as a normal grocery run, a short drive, a clean shop, no substitutions, ended with a customer convinced her tomatoes had been urinated on, and a shopper backing away from the delivery altogether.
