THE YARD BOX MISLEAD
A social post calls out a yard-sized Snickers box for looking bigger than it is, arguing the packaging misleads despite the 18-bar count.
Is the box just presentation, or too misleading?

A box of Snickers labeled as a "yard" has been called "incredibly misleading," and the complaint is not about the candy count.
The post that kicked off the reaction came down to one simple gripe: the package looks far bigger than what it actually contains. The poster wrote, "This package for this "yard" of snickers is incredibly misleading," pointing to the oversized presentation as the problem.
What makes the frustration specific is that the box is not hiding the number inside. According to the poster, the package says there are 18 bars, and that part is not the issue. "I don't even care that there are only 18 bars, as it says on the box," they explained.
The real complaint is the mismatch between the packaging and the product. In the poster's view, the box should have been made smaller to match what's inside, instead of stretching out the display and creating an impression that doesn't line up with the contents. As they put it, "Just make the package smaller so as to not do deceptive."
So the story is not that the Snickers count was hidden. It's that the "yard" style box made the candy look more abundant than it was, and the poster called that presentation misleading even while accepting the 18-bar count printed right on the box.
