A woman in her 40s pulled a dog out of her bag mid-flight, and the man in the aisle seat told her to put it back before the cabin turned into "a bigger scene."
It happened on a Delta flight to Los Angeles, on a smaller plane with just two seats on each side. The poster, a 35-year-old man, had an aisle seat and no in-flight entertainment to distract him. There was no TV, no movies, and he wasn't paying for WiFi, so he spent the flight listening to music.
About ten minutes after takeoff, he noticed the woman across the aisle moving around and reaching into her personal item. Then she took out a dog.
His reaction was immediate. In his words, "What the Fuck." He says he is "not dog friendly," and he told her firmly: "you better put the dog back in the carrier."
She pushed back right away. The woman said "its cramped in the carrier" and that "the dog would rather be in her lap." But the poster didn't budge. He told her to "put it away or this can be a bigger scene for you."
She reluctantly put the dog back in the carrier.
That was not the end of it. For the rest of the flight, the woman kept baby talking to the dog and repeatedly called him "the asshole."
The plane eventually landed in Los Angeles, but the argument didn't end there. After the flight, the poster complained to the flight attendants about what had happened.
The whole exchange started with a dog being removed from a bag in the middle of a flight and ended with insults, a warning about a "bigger scene," and a complaint to the crew after landing.
