The neighbors didn't just keep the feud going, they sent two 17-year-old girls to the poster's home to threaten them.
"Knowing full and well I am armed," the poster wrote, saying the girls showed up after an earlier post about the neighbors. The poster says the situation jumped immediately from ugly to dangerous, and that the girls were still minors. "I called the police and CPS bc they were only 17," they said, adding that the wife "put these kids in some serious danger." According to the poster, police agreed.
From there, the poster says they got a lawyer. That changed the tone fast. The neighbors, who had allegedly been escalating things, suddenly wanted to talk and settle it.
But the calls and accusations didn't stop there.
The poster says the wife then contacted the landlord and made claims about them. That part, the poster says, fell apart because security cameras recorded the entire incident with audio. The recording allegedly showed what really happened and disproved the accusations.
Then came the bigger accusation: the wife and neighbors allegedly called the poster's husband's job and claimed he was driving erratically and had almost run the wife's child over. The poster says the husband's work vehicle has GPS and cameras, and that this was the second time the wife had made a call like that. This time, the poster says, his job is now going after her.
By that point, the story had turned into a paper trail of complaints, recordings, and denials, with each side accusing the other, and technology sitting in the middle like a witness. The poster says the neighbors still can't afford a lawyer and haven't paid rent in two months.
And even now, the watching hasn't stopped.
"Every single day when I'm outside watering my plants they sit watching me," the poster wrote. They closed the update by saying, "I have a fan club now," before adding, "Stupid is as stupid does."
What began with a neighbor dispute escalated into police, CPS, a lawyer, landlord calls, workplace complaints, and surveillance footage. And from the poster's telling, the neighbors are still there, broke, behind on rent, and staring from outside while the plants get watered.
