"Vincentoscar," the poster wrote, "would have been horrific."

The strange name came at the end of a playful Reddit prompt built around one of Twilight's most infamous baby names. The post opened with an update: "Added- This was way more popular than I thought it would be. These have all been so much fun to read." Then came the setup. "Renesmee is considered a bad name by some people," the writer said, explaining that it is combined from the grandmothers' names "Renee and Esme." A parenthetical note pinned the reference to "the vampire movie Twilight of unfamiliar."

From there, the post turned into a naming game. The question was simple: "What would your name have been." If the Renesmee style, two family names stitched into one, were used on other people, what would the result be?

The writer answered first, with a pair of examples from their own life. "I would have been Dollynette (Dolly and Lynette.)" they wrote, offering a name that sounds like it wandered out of a country song and into a birth certificate. Then came the girlfriend: "My girlfriend would be 'Mariamy.' (Maria and Amy.)" It was another blend, this one softer but just as unmistakably mashed together from two separate names.

The post then widened the idea again, this time toward a "male or male identifying crush." The instruction was slightly awkward, but the pattern was clear: take the grandpa names, smash them together, and see what happens. The answer, at least in the writer's case, was "Vincentoscar (my grandpas)." The result landed with a thud. Not only was it "horrific," the poster added one final image to drive it home: "It's looks like a Dino."

That was the joke, and the hook. A naming scheme born from Twilight's Renesmee had turned into a chain of made-up hybrids, each one more absurd than the last, until the most unfortunate of them all sounded, to the poster, less like a person and more like a dinosaur.
