Two years after a bouquet request triggered a family rift, a wedding-day standoff erupts when one sister refuses a pregnancy reveal at the other's ceremony.

A wedding-day announcement was about to hijack the ceremony, and the bride-to-be said no.
The poster, a 30-year-old woman, is getting married this Sunday. But the fight started two years ago, at her sister Jessica's wedding, when her own life had just taken a brutal turn. A couple of weeks before Jessica walked down the aisle, the poster's ex left her for another woman. She says it crushed her because "I thought that he was going to propose soon."
So at Jessica's wedding, while everyone was wrapped up in the celebration, the poster made a small request with a lot of feeling behind it. She asked Jessica to "throw the bouquet to me as to wish me luck." Jessica refused, saying "she didn't wanna damage it." The poster tried again, asking if she could "lend it to me for a couple of pics." Jessica said no to that, too.
The poster says she didn't argue. She didn't make a scene. She let it go, at least on the surface.
Now the situation has flipped. Jessica is pregnant and wants to announce it at the poster's wedding. The poster says the answer was immediate: "okay, my sister is pregnant and wants to announce it at my wedding", and "I said absolutely not."
When Jessica asked why, the poster pointed to two things. First, "The wedding is for my fiance and I." Second, Jessica hadn't done what the poster asked at Jessica's own wedding, so "She didn't do what I asked her to do at her wedding, so why would I do what she asks in mine?"
Jessica was furious. She told the poster she was being "ridiculous." Their mother piled on, saying she was being "childish."
The tension didn't stop there. In an edit, the poster said the wedding is tomorrow, Jessica is no longer speaking to her, and neither is their mother. She says she cannot uninvite them and is now "very concerned" about what might happen when they show up.
So a bouquet request from two years ago has turned into a last-minute standoff over a pregnancy announcement, with the wedding looming, the family split, and the guest list locked in place.
