ICE POSTS UNDER FIRE
A provocative post challenges moderators over the removal of ICE-related content, accusing them of censorship and pointing to platform policies that could suppress political topics.

"Stop deleting ICE posts" was the blunt title on a message that opened with a direct warning to the moderators: get the "brownshirts" out of the mod team before the community walks away.
The post did not tiptoe around its target. The author addressed the moderators head-on and told them, "Make a statement or get out of the way." The accusation was that ICE-related posts were being removed, and the author wanted that to stop.
The core complaint was specific: "ICE raids on kitchens are extremely relevant right now." The post argued that those raids "will continue to ramp up as the USA declines into fascism." In other words, the author framed the removals not as a routine moderation issue, but as a refusal to allow a current political topic to stay visible.
Then came the edit, and it changed the tone without backing off the point. The author added that they meant "no ill will if this is not a result of moderator actions or moderator intent." That line left room for the possibility that the removals were not the moderators' doing at all.
The edit went one step further and pointed a finger somewhere else: Reddit itself. The post suggested the platform could be using its "AntiEvilOperations" system "at or against" the moderators' will.
So the post moved from accusation to caveat, but the demand stayed the same. Stop deleting the ICE posts, the author said, and if the moderators were behind it, they should say so. If not, then something else on Reddit was doing the removing.
